This post will be brief but filled with TONS of pics. For the past couple of years we have had to settle for a poolside family weekend since we have all been so busy. Having that said, I have been SUPER excited about this family beach trip. My mother loves Ocean Isle so we stayed in this ginormous awesome house:
That's right... 2 POOLS!! AND a jacuzzi! SWEET!
So this was our view every morning:
Perfect, right?? Thanks to Mommy's friends that let us stay there! We ended up getting there late Thursday night and stayed up wayy too late. But I was so excited the next morning when we woke up because it was going to be M's very first trip to the beach! Josh kept informing me not to get my hopes up too much because M couldn't do anything. But I was determined. He was going to have the time of his life. And this was said "time of his life":
Get my drift? Poor little guy was just sooo sleepy! I did force get some good pics once he was up though:
Even though he wasn't active, there was another cute little booger there too that was more than happy to run and play:
I'm not sure why but this pic always cracks me up - it's like she's saying "WHY DO THEY KEEP TAKING PICS?!?!" Diva! She must get that from her father...
She was so funny! Every time she got sand on her hands she HAD to wash them off
Lilly is SOOO big!
Doing yoga on the beach
We mostly stayed out on the beach for the entire weekend and it.was.glorious. Sunday we went to the Tanger Outlets and went to the best place in the entire world:
M if you're ever in the dog house, anything from this store will most likely grant you instant forgiveness (MAYBE). I LOVE family vacays! They are the absolute best! It was so nice to finally just hang out and not have any plans. We can't wait until the cabin is finished so we can enjoy more relaxation time. Good thing that's in the mountains because I can't WAIT to get some photos of M in the snow!! Here are some more random pics from our awesome weekend:
SO cute in their matching monogrammed outfits
Cousin kisses are the cutest!
L had the best time in the pool! I swear she's a little fish!
AND we were beyond excited to see Aunt Syd! We have missed her SO much!
Next up is the 3 month post if I ever get around to it. Happy Tuesday!
I have been having an inner battle about sharing these before Halloween but I couldn't resist. Yesterday when we got home I found a surprise on our door. It was M's first costume- a bear!! A little history, my husband likes is obsessed with bears. His highschool mascot was a bear and so was his college one. The brothers also named all 7894579834653497 of their pet dogs Bear when he was growing up. So whenever the family talks fondly of Bear, they're all referring to a different dog at a different time. Weird, right?
Anyway, when I opened it we immediately HAD to put it on. PB Kids only has two sizes for this costume, so I ordered the 1-6 months costume. If you know me, then you won't be surprised that I was worrying about it being too big for him (even though he's already in 3 month outfits) and couldn't possibly understand why PB Kids was trying to ruin my life by not having more than 2 options with different sizes. I digress. Here we are putting it on him and it's a little snug so it took both of us to get him in. I thought he would be screaming and ruin my pictures but he was laughing hysterically at this.
I will forewarn you, this is quite possibly the cutest thing I have EVER seen:
It's a bear attack!!
He hates me and gave all of his smiles to Daddy. No worries, Mommy is determined!
I have so many ideas and am probably going to take him several places for pics. No worries, we are going to get a LOT of use out of this costume and Mason WILL cooperate ;-)
Hello all! Things have been super busy in the Keller household this past week, and it's just the beginning! We have something planned every single weekend of October to the third weekend in December (and I'm pretty sure we'll have something planned before long on that weekend too).
On Thursday, my awesome hubby came home with the BEST surprise EVER!! Tis the season for....
I LOVE CADBURY EGGS!!!!!!
I had been looking forward to Friday all week because I had off since I was teaching a First Aid/CPR/AED class on Saturday and I could spend it with my little man! I feel like I haven't been able to spend quality time with him in FOREVER! The next morning I was greeted with this:
Stretch it out
I always feel like he's thinking "I'm freeee!!!"
We mostly played all morning and were heading for a walk when this happened:
That'll wake you up this Tuesday morning! You're welcome! I swear, it.was.everywhere. As I was trying to maneuver him out of his clothes without it getting all over him, the little snot was laughing so hard! Ha! And when I say it was everywhere, I mean it. Have you ever tried cleaning a baby off while trying not to mess up everything else in the room? I don't think you understand, we had a SERIOUS Code Brown on our hands. There was crap coating his legs (because of course he wasn't going to keep his legs or feet still and was loving this "game" we were playing), on the changing pad, on the changing cover, on the changing table, on his arms (due to him grabbing his legs and feet), on my fingernails. EWW! I feel like I am in the Dumb and Dumberer movie where there is poop all over the entire room. This is my life. I finally got a new diaper on him and then had to come up with a quick plan to get Sir $hitsalot cleaned up. I couldn't lay him down because during his change he also managed to get poop all over everything else. I had to juggle him one armed while holding him away from my body because for once, I still had a clean shirt and it is RARE nowadays that I get the luxury of having a clean shirt past 7 am. While juggling him, I managed to change the changing table things to lay him back down so I could do a temp fix and wipe him down with wipes in order to sit him down in his bouncer while I ran his bath water. Meanwhile, Poops Magee is having the time of his life giggling and cackling thinking this is the most hysterical thing ever. FINALLY, I get everything cleaned or at least what I call clean post-baby and it's bath time. Good thing this kid is cute:
Lounging while Mommy cleans up
Once we worked everything out, we decided to go for a walk. Of course, the poop-sickle decided to go to sleep immediately because he had the traumatizing morning (SIGH):
Flash forward to the evening where Aunt Kim Kim and Uncle TJ came over with M's new bestie Peyton to play. We had SO much fun with them grilling out and making fires with Peyton. I'm not going to lie, it made me secretly happy that he was having so much fun with us that he didn't want to leave that night! We can't wait to see you again Peyt! (I wish I had taken pictures with him - I seriously have to be better about that!! But Peyt is seriously the CUTEST ever!)
After my First Aid/CPR/AED class on Saturday, we went to dinner with my parents. Paw Paw was so excited that M was wearing plaids that decided he was going to match him!
Sunday we went to Hickory to visit Grandma Debbie, Pop Pops and our other Keller fam. (I took pics on my nice camera but I left that at home. More photos of those later):
Hanging out with Cousin Chase
This is the CUTEST video. He LOVES swinging!
Here are some millions of other pics that we have:
Here's a few of the fun he had at Ms. Dawn's this week:
